Labour Market Information Resource

The Labour Market and Policy Tool provides access to a wide range of employment, skills, training and demographic statistics related to the health sector. This is a single source through which workforce planners, researchers and other stakeholders can view data by sector and geography, and follow links to related websites and sources of data.  

Data within the Tool is available for the UK as a whole and by country (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales), region and health boundary, and your selection can be customised by sector (Skills for Health, NHS, Independent and Voluntary) and labour market and policy theme. The outputs can be displayed as tables, charts and exported into Excel. 
The data available on this site was the most up-to-date as at 1st July 2010, and will be next updated in October 2010.
